Life is but a moment in time
Yet as long as eternity
Our journey's walk is step by step
Yet time waits for no one; neither you nor me.

The seasons of life each pave a way
To the next winding road we choose to take
 Without a chance to go back again
No matter the hurt or mistakes we make.

We must strive for the best in our seasons of life
To become all that we are meant to be
To follow our dreams, to share our heart
For sharing love is the great essential key.

Our journey begins in the breathe of spring
When the world is fresh and life anew
Then summer brings our time to explore
And to chart the path we choose to pursue.

In the autumn of life we reap the rewards
The fruits of our works and the choices we made
As we watch the young as they walk their own path
On the foundation we had previously laid.

The winter of life is to relax and reflect
On the paths and journeys of our prime
And to remember we did the best we could
With the knowledge we had and what we knew at the time.
