Remember our Sisters and Brothers who died
In this tragic attack against the U.S.A.
Remember their Families, Loved Ones and Friends
As we share their grief in the price they had to pay.
Remember our Heroes who bravely fought
For the safety and rescue of those we love
Remember the Heroes who lost their lives
As they placed their trust in the hands of our God above.
Remember our Soldiers whose lives are in danger
As they serve our country with courage and pride.
Remember their Families waiting at home
Whose hearts are heavy and hurting inside.
Remember our Leaders who make the decisions
To bring worldly accord with a quality of life.
Remember our Country as we enter this turmoil
In an attempt to end all the struggle and strife.
Remember the People who are fleeing their homes
Men, women and children attempting to hide.
Remember the Families who agonize in horror
In the knowledge of loved ones who have already died.
Remember the Hate and the damage it brings
As others are judged and devalued of worth.
Remember that Love is the only true weapon
To bring harmony and order on this great earth.
Hate is contagious, it can
spread like a fire
And engulf its victims in control and power.
But in simple prayers we can ask God above
To restore this world with Peace and Love.

"Every gun that is made, every warship that is launched,
every rocket fired signifies, in the
final sense,
a theft
from those
who hunger and are not fed,
those who are cold
and are not clothed.
This world in arms is not spending
money alone.
It is spending the sweat of its laborers,
the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.
This is not a way of life at all in any true sense.
Under
the cloud of war, it is humanity hanging on a cross of iron."
Dwight D. Eisenhower

"God Bless America"
Written by Irving Berlin in 1918; revised in 1938
Performed by Kate Smith
God bless America, land that I love
Stand beside her and guide her
Through the night with the light from above
From the mountains, to the prairies
To the ocean white with foam
God bless America, my home sweet home.
God bless America, land that I love
Stand beside her and guide her
Through the night with the light from above
From the mountains, to the prairies
To the ocean white with foam
God bless America, my home sweet home.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the ocean white with foam
God bless America, my home sweet home
God bless America, my home sweet home.
