How in this world
Can we put a man on the moon
And still have a need
For a place like St. Jude

And why is one man born
In a place where all they know is war
And a guy like me
Has always been free

And how can two people
Who built a loving home
Try for years
And never have a child of their own

And somewhere out there tonight
There's a baby no one's holding tight
In need of love
To me that don't add up

But I wasn't there the day you filled up the ocean
I didn't get to see you hang the stars in the sky
So I don't mean to second guess you
Or criticize what I don't understand

These are just a few questions I have

And why did my cousin
Have to die in that crash
A good kid, only seventeen
I still wonder about that

It seems unfair to me
Some get the chance to chase their dreams
And some don't
What do I know?

I wasn't there the day you filled up the ocean
I didn't get to see you hang the stars in the sky
I don't mean to second guess you
Or criticize what I don't understand

These are just a few questions I have

Why do I feel like
You hear these prayers of mine
When so many ought to be
Ahead of me in line

When you look down on me
Can you see the good through all the bad
These are just a few questions I had

I'm sure we all have a few questions about our life and our world around us that we would like answered.  I know I do. We all seem to have questions when tragedies occur and we want to know why.  When injustices have been done we ask questions and want to know why me or why us.  And then sometimes we just have questions about general things; almost trivial and unimportant things, but still we question.  Unfortunately, however, many of our questions are often left unanswered.

Apparently right now, we are not always in a "need to know" situation, and it also could be possible that some of our questions are left unanswered to test our faith  - so that we will go blindly forward on faith alone.

On the other hand, I believe that God does answer some of our questions.  Sometimes those answers can come to us in various ways.  It may be a dream or a thought that we have at a later time.  Or, our answers could come from another person.

I know I do not have the answers, but I do believe that someday we will all have the answers to all of our questions.
