I swung as hard as I could swing

I went to war one summer day
As brave as I could be
When I came home to the girl I loved
There was not much left of me

I tried to pick up the pieces
So sure that she would leave

My son stood at the plate today
With a count of three and two
He tipped his cap and said, "Hey Dad
This one's going out for you."

And right there I thanked the Lord above
For the gifts He's given me.

Life has a wonderful way of allowing us to recall special moments in time.  Once recalled, these moments can remind us of our blessings,  confirm that we are loved, or perhaps just give us a warm and fuzzy feeling.  Whatever the response when we recall these moments, they are all  moments we will always treasure.  What a wonderful feeling to go back and find just one moment in time.

When it seems as though nothing is right And the pleasures of life are difficult to find Just sit back and relax; take a deep breath And find those special one moments in time.
