As she walks through the virgin forest, motes of dappled sunlight dance through her auburn hair. her green eyes are like limpid pools reflecting the greenness of the forest that surrounds her. Her ruby lips are as soft as rose petals. Her fragrance is so heavenly that even the forest creatures stop to breath deeply. As she treads softly upon the fallen leaves, her melodic voice causes the birds to stop their singing. Flying to perch upon her soft shoulder, they join her in sweet harmony.

Leaving the forest she enters into a grassy meadow. Glancing about she calls to the deer, who knowing they are safe in her presence, approach her and allow her to scratch them behind the ears.

Glancing up at the sun, she knows by its position that she will soon meet her lover, for the decision was made to meet in the glade at high sun. Soon her lover appears clad in black and silver, a yellow rose in his hand. He presents his gift to his lady and is quickly rewarded with a soft sensual kiss. Enraptured by her fragrance, he begins a medley of soft kisses up and down her satiny smooth neck. Her warm body responding and pressing ever harder into his as their passions begin their euphoric journey upward. Soon there is no sun, no meadow, only the two of them locked in a reality they have created for themselves. and there in the grassy meadow he gives her his ballad of love.

And I love you so
The people ask me how
How I've lived till now
I tell them I don't know

I guess they understand
How lonely life has been
But life began again
The day you took my hand

And yes, I know how lonely life can be
The shadows follow me and the night won't set me free
But I don't let the evening get me down
Now that you're around me

And you love me, too
Your thoughts are just for me
You set my spirit free
I'm happy that you do

The book of life is brief
And once a page is read
All but life is dead
That is my belief

And yes, I know how lonely life can be
The shadows follow me and the night won't set me free
But I don't let the evening get me down
Now that you're around me
