From the Poet's Desk, my
love letter to you . . .
I received
the letters you wrote to me
And as I opened the envelope I could see
The words you wrote as precious art
Warmed my soul and touched my heart.
I knew
your words were written with care
As though I were sitting beside you there
Your words of love while we're apart
Are cherished love letters straight from your heart.

"Love
Letters"
Love
letters straight from your heart
Keep us so near while apart
I'm not alone in the night
When I can have all the love you write
I memorize every line
And I kiss the name that you sign
And darling, then I read again right from the start
Love letters straight from your heart
I memorize every line
And I kiss the name that you sign
And darling, then I read again right from the start
Love letters straight from your heart
