When you walk through a storm hold your head up high
Oh, and don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of a storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver sounds of a lark

Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown

Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone

Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown

Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone

A disastrous tragedy has struck our country, and this is a time when we all need to unite.  Thousands of our fellow American citizens are left without homes, without personal possessions, without food and without water.  Their lives have been shattered.  Many are searching for loved ones, and many have already lost their loved ones.  It is estimated there are over one million people who are now homeless.

Right now, it is not important who didn't do what they should have done, or who did what they should not have done.  All that is important right now is that we come to the aid of our fellow Americans.  The Red Cross is looking for cash donations and volunteer help.  All American Red Cross disaster assistance is free, made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from the American people.  Please click below to help in any where you can.

In addition to financial help and volunteer help, our fellow Americans need our prayer support.  Please remember these victims in their hour of need.

I just recently learned that there are scam artists out there who are attempting to collect money for purposes other than for these victims.  Please make sure that any donations you want to give are to a reputable organization.  Do not give donations to any e-mails you may receive asking for money!  Instead, if you want to donate online, go to the legitimate websites of these organizations, or contact your local offices.

The above links are the legitimate websites of The American Red Cross and The Salvation Army.
