Hello
walls
How'd things go for you today
Don't you miss her
Since she up and walked a way
And I'll bet you dread to spend
Another lonely night with me
Lonely walls
I'll keep you company.
Hello window
Well I see that you're still
here
Aren't you lonely
Since our
darling disappeared
Well, look here, is that a
teardrop
In the corner of your pane
Now, don't you try
To tell me that it's rain.
She went away and left us all
alone
The way she planned
Guess we'll have to learn to get
along
Without her if we can
Hello ceiling
I'm gonna stare at you awhile
You know I can't sleep
So won't you bear with me awhile
We must all stick together or
else
I'll lose my mind
I've got a feeling
She'll be gone a long, long
time.

"Hello Walls"
Recorded by Faron Young
Words and Music by Willie Nelson
#1 on the Charts in 1961
Faron Young was one of the first singing artists
to sing a Willie Nelson song
Faron Young was born February 25, 1932 near Shreveport,
Louisiana. As a young boy, he was given a guitar and started singing in a
country band. He started his singing career as a country music singer at the
local Optimist Club, and was discovered by Webb Pierce in 1951, who invited to
sing on the Louisiana Hayride radio program.
His career was just starting to take off
when he was drafted into the Army and served in the Korean War in 1952.
When he was discharged in 1954 he picked up his career and his music
sky-rocketed.
During the 90's he was stricken with
chronic emphysema and became severely depressed by his ill heath. In his
depressed state, he shot himself on December 9, 1996 and died the next
day. Known as "the Hillbilly Heartthrob" and "The Singing
Sheriff", Faron Young was one of the best honky-tonk singers of all time.
The music playing is a condensed version of
"Hello Walls", and is for entertainment, educational
