I'm a little bit country

And I'm a little bit rock 'n roll

I'm a little bit of Memphis and Nashville

With a little bit of Motown in my soul

I don't know if it's good or bad
But I know I love it so

I'm a little bit country

And I'm a little bit rock 'n roll

He's a little bit gentle, he's a little bit running wild

She's a little bit of full grown woman, she's a little bit of child

I don't know if I'm happy or sad
My music makes me whole

I'm a little bit country

And I'm a little bit rock 'n roll

I like that peaceful easy feeling of a laid back country song

And when I sing my rock n' roll, I can sing it all night long

I love my country with all my heart and soul

I go out on Saturday night for a little bit of rock 'n roll

I know I'm gonna feel all right
No matter where I go

With little bit of country

And a little bit of rock 'n roll

I like that peaceful easy feeling of a laid back country song

And when I sing my rock n' roll, I can sing it all night long

I love my country with all my heart and soul

I go out on Saturday night for a little bit of rock 'n roll

I know I'm gonna feel all right
No matter where I go

With a little bit country

And a little bit of rock 'n roll

We're a little bit country

We're a little bit rock 'n roll

Donny Osmond, born December 9, 1957 and his sister (Olive) Marie Osmond, born October 13, 1959 were the youngest entertainers in TV history to host their own variety show in 1976.  They were born into the Osmond family which consisted of 8 boys and 1 girl.  Four of the older boys originally formed the Osmond Brothers singing group in the mid-60's with Donny and Jimmy later joining the group.  Marie, one of the youngest singers to reach #1 on the Billboard Country Music charts, followed her brothers singing careers when she recorded "Paper Roses" in 1973.

The "Donny & Marie Show" aired in January of 1976 on ABC starring Donny and Marie.  As a brother and sister pop duo, the show aired until May of 1979.  The show's popularity declined after it was revealed that teen heartthrob Donny was dating (and eventually married) Debbie Glenn, therefore taking him 'off the market' of eligible bachelors.

The music playing is a condensed version of "I'm A Little Bit Country", and is for entertainment, educational and evaluation purposes only. Titles have full copyright by their respective artists and record companies. Please show your support for the artists who gave us this great music by purchasing their CDs.

If you are interested in purchasing a full version of "I'm A Little Bit Country" by Donny & Marie Osmond, I have provided a link below to Amazon.com. They sell both new and used CDs. I have purchased many used CDs for my web pages and have never had a problem.  Amazon also sells MP3 downloads in several categories with single songs ranging from 89 to 99 cents.

This song is not available as a download, and the link below is for a boxed set of all the Osmonds.  It is rather expensive, but as far as I know, it's the only place you can find the song now.

Thank you.
